Théâtre Spirale presents “Memory of Fire” by Eduardo Galeano at La Parfumerie, a poetic and thought-provoking performance inspired by Latin American history. The play “Five Days in March” by Toshiki Okada, directed by Nadim Ahmed, captures the lives of young Tokyoites in March 2003 against the backdrop of the Iraq War. A couple randomly meets and isolates themselves in a love hotel, while other aimless characters drift nearby, preoccupied with their everyday lives and uncertainties. This play portrays a generation caught between carefree living and a sense of powerlessness in the face of historical events.
