Electron Festival: Synth Workshop for Kids

Based in Fribourg and home to one of the world’s largest collections of synthesizers — nearly 5,000 instruments — the SMEM (Swiss Museum for Electronic Music Instruments) brings its iconic machines to Geneva for The Open Synth Labs, part of the Electron Festival. Specially designed for young participants, this workshop offers a fun and interactive introduction to music-making using iPad apps, with the added bonus of experimenting with real vintage synths from the SMEM archive.

Boxley, invites children and adults to reflect on the climate crisis and our environmental responsibility.

Travel back in time and explore 15,000 years of Geneva’s history in a fun and hands-on way! Artist Carol Bove brings the past to life by mixing ancient treasures, famous artworks, and everyday objects. Follow a timeline filled with exciting discoveries—from old tools to modern masterpieces—while touching, observing, and imagining. This interactive exhibition turns the museum into a place of adventure, where history and art blend in surprising ways. Perfect for curious minds of all ages!
