Based in Fribourg and home to one of the world’s largest collections of synthesizers — nearly 5,000 instruments — the SMEM (Swiss Museum for Electronic Music Instruments) brings its iconic machines to Geneva for The Open Synth Labs, part of the Electron Festival. Specially designed for young participants, this workshop offers a fun and interactive introduction to music-making using iPad apps, with the added bonus of experimenting with real vintage synths from the SMEM archive.
