Coline Serreau, the renowned French actress, director, and screenwriter, presents a hilarious one-woman show where she shares anecdotes from her career in theater and film. As the daughter of a writer and a director, she humorously and candidly recounts stories from her beginnings in “La Belle Histoire,” her experience in a circus, to the behind-the-scenes of “Three Men and a Cradle.” Serreau also tackles contemporary topics such as social media, racism, and performing arts while highlighting theater as a social connector. This event promises laughter and enchantment, in collaboration with Migros Cultural Percentage Geneva.

Written by Elisa Shua Dusapin and directed by Ludovic Chazaud, Le vieil incendie delicately explores the fragile bond between two sisters separated by time, silence, and absence. Fifteen years after their estrangement, they reunite in the family home destined for demolition, where childhood memories and buried wounds resurface. Blending words, gestures, and silence, this poetic and sensory play reveals what still connects us — to loved ones, to places, and to shared memory.

The Sinfonietta Bern Ensemble performs the iconic soundtracks from Hayao Miyazaki’s animated masterpieces, composed by Joe Hisaishi, including pieces from “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind,” “Spirited Away,” and “My Neighbor Totoro.” This show promises a captivating musical journey, filled with emotion and vibrant colors, perfect for a family outing.

Les Inoubliables festival in Geneva shines a spotlight on women composers past and present, from classical to jazz, through an eclectic programme of concerts, screenings, masterclasses, cine-concerts, round tables, and workshops for all audiences. It also carries out long-term initiatives such as residencies, score publications, and outreach activities, helping preserve and promote this rich female musical heritage.

In “L’Aquarium,” Calaferte delves into the monotony and routine of a couple after many years together. Set during a fall evening, this comedy highlights how former passionate partners become unable to surprise each other, trapped in their daily lives much like fish swimming in circles in an aquarium. The humor emerges from everyday situations, skillfully captured by the author.
