Club Amour presents three pieces by the Ensemble Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch and guest dancers, conceived by Pina Bausch and Boris Charmatz: Café Müller (1978) and two works by Charmatz, Aatt enen tionon (1996) and herses, duo (excerpt 1997). The programme probes desire, proximity and withdrawal between bodies, mixing contrasting aesthetics and music from PJ Harvey to Purcell. For some pieces the audience is placed on stage, creating an intimate, immersive encounter.
Composed and sung by Emmanuelle Bonnet, this new quartet programme presents material from the album Prérie(s), released on her independent label Mousse Records after a 2024 debut on Unit Records. Joined by Yvonne Rogers (piano), Tabea Kind (double bass) and Lucas Zibulski (drums), the four musicians pursue timbral and textural discoveries, shaping a collective sound marked by playful nonchalance and subtle humour. The performance unfolds intimate, shifting atmospheres that deconstruct and reweave harmonies into delicate, expressive narratives.
Swiss music icon Stephan Eicher pares everything to the bone in this intimate solo soirée, blending grainy-voiced classics with wry, raconteur anecdotes to chart a life spent wandering off the mainstream map; sparked by a chance stroll, honed with director François Gremaud, the show unfolds like a dandy’s confessional, letting familiar melodies bloom into candid, humorous revelations that lay bare the poetic, ever-restless spirit behind the hits.

Directed by Bastien Blanchard, CANICULE is a first play that turns a scorching domestic scene into a comedic yet unsettling probe of consumerist happiness. Actors Nadim Ahmed, Estelle Benaïch, Danae Dario and Angelo Dell’Aquila shift between light banter and mounting unease as a repairman exposes fissures in a marriage. Cornélius Spaeter’s scenography, Marc Heinmendinger’s lighting and Ljubica Markovic’s costumes frame moments of heat, claustrophobia and ironic intimacy, touching on climate change and overconsumption with dry wit and emotional precision.
