The Gurtner/Bovay/Gremaud collective showcases “La Magnificité” at Maison Saint-Gervais. This trio, consisting of Michèle Gurtner, Tiphanie Bovay-Klameth, and François Gremaud, performs a series of lively and absurd sketches that highlight a playful and purposeless blend of gestures and dialogue. Combining elements of automatic writing, surrealist games, and improvisation, their performance is naive, poetic, tender, and most importantly, hilariously engaging.

Set during a fall evening, this comedy highlights how former passionate partners become unable to surprise each other, trapped in their daily lives much like fish swimming in circles in an aquarium.
