Chamber Music: Beach & Vaughan-Williams

Musicians from the OSR perform works by Amy Beach and Ralph Vaughan Williams. The ensemble includes Rosnei Tuon and Cristian Zimmerman on violin, Verena Schweizer on viola, Laurent Issartel on cello, Ivy Wong on double bass, and Ivani Venturieri on piano. The program features Beach’s “Piano Quintet in F-sharp minor op. 67,” a dreamy and melancholic piece with Brahmsian influences, and Vaughan Williams’ “Piano Quintet in C minor,” an expressive work that was rediscovered after years of neglect.
