Born in Lebanon and adopted by Switzerland, Dida blends her diverse roots to create music that speaks deeply to her soul. After perfecting her jazz vocals in Bern, she returns to Beirut, reconnecting with her biological family and drawing inspiration from oriental music. With her Beyrouth Express Quintet, she unites contemporary jazz with rich Eastern sounds, creating a unique blend of warmth, virtuosity, and depth, brought to life by a talented ensemble including oud master Samir Nasr Eddine and jazz virtuosos.
