Swiss jazz saxophonist Arthur Donnot returns with his second album Pontica De Alma, meaning « Passerelle de l’âme » in Occitan. The project offers an intimate, airy musical immersion marked by a warm, velvety saxophone tone and a luminous, lyrical approach. At the crossroads of jazz and indie folk, Donnot delivers a heartfelt, original performance accompanied by the new generation of Swiss musicians: Erwan Valazza (guitar), Jules Martinet (bass), Nathan Vandenbulcke (drums) and Mélusine Chapuis (keys).

Dogfight is a musical set in 1960s America on the eve of young Marines’ departure for Vietnam. The plot follows Eddie Birdlace, whose cruel ‘dogfight’ gamble is upended when he meets Rose, an idealistic and sincere young woman. Over a single night, the production confronts themes of masculinity, violence and empathy, blending gritty social realism with moments of tenderness. Sparse staging and intimate musical numbers highlight a painful coming-of-age and the possibility of moral change.

Poussière de crotte dans le coeur d’une diva

Marlène Charpentié conjures a strange papier-mâché garden in this hybrid performance that mixes theatre, clown and dance. Three figures — an obsessed drag-king, a heartbroken diva vampire and a queer Pierrot who tends fading, reviving flowers — share the stage without words. Between absurd humour and a critique of capitalism, the piece plays out like a cracked cabaret where material is worked live: objects are handled, transformed and revealed in a visceral, intimate exchange with the audience.
