The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

29 June – 24 August

Presented by Allianz Cinéma, this summer’s open-air program stages cinematic evenings along the water. The selection favors intimate, atmospheric films—framed in long takes and textured nightlight—that unfold against the hush of waves and skyline. A gentle curation blends contemporary and classic titles, where communal viewing meets suspended terraces, a pop-up restaurant and relaxed lounges. The emphasis is on mood: tactile frames, warm night palettes and the social rhythms of shared attention, inviting contemplative and convivial cinema.

7 – 28 July

Gather by the paddling pool to hear lively storytellers bring short tales to life. Listen to playful voices, rhythmic songs and splashy sounds as characters move through sunny scenes. Children will join simple refrains, act out parts, and follow bright images that spark imagination. Readings encourage curiosity, new words and pretend play, with chances to move, laugh and imagine whole stories together under the open sky.

1 July – 1 September

Spanning a century of cinema, this retrospective traces the evolving face of stardom from silent-era pioneers to contemporary icons. Through nine thematic chapters and a curated selection of one hundred films, it examines the star system, shifting modernities, emerging representations of desire and identity, and the rise of anti-heroes. Shot and assembled for a keen focus on the human visage, the program foregrounds cinematic techniques that reinvent how films capture presence and persona.

14 – 22 July

Sing and move in a playful musical workshop led by La Bulle d’Air. Accompanied by an adult, little ones explore songs, finger games and simple rhythms while they clap, sway and tap small instruments. Voices, bright notes and gentle beats invite children to join in, imitate sounds and play with words. This shared musical time builds language, social skills and body awareness through singing, movement and hands-on sound making.
