From December 5 to 6, 2025, just before the holiday season, the Conservatoire Populaire of Music, Dance and Theatre invites you to the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices (BFM) in Geneva for its grand biennial dance show. Across three exceptional performances, audiences will experience a rich choreographic journey blending poetry, energy, and artistic diversity—from classical and contemporary to modern jazz. Ouch! by FanfareduLoup is a joyfully offbeat puppet concert where strangeness takes center stage. On stage, musicians and puppets inspire, imitate, and intertwine in a repertoire that is both solemn and wild, full of humor, surprise, and whimsy. Revived with enthusiasm since 2023, this unusual show invites the audience to celebrate their quirky side in a festive and playful tribute.

17 March 2025 – 1 September 2026

The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

5 & 13 December

Dive into the captivating history of the Escalade, Geneva’s iconic celebration. This guided tour delves into the stories, images, and legends of the 1602 event, featuring Elzingre’s artistic reimagining of its heroic scenes. Perfect for families, the tour concludes with a delightful culinary surprise for Saturday participants.

The ASL is marking its 45th anniversary with the immersive exhibition “Léman, l’éveil d’un peuple” (Léman, the Awakening of a People). This exhibition chronicles the fierce battle to rescue Lake Geneva from suffocation between the 1960s and 2000, driven by the collective efforts of associations, scientists, fishermen, journalists, and institutions. It offers a journey filled with documents and personal accounts, reminding visitors of the power of individual action in protecting the lake. The event features a variety of activities suitable for all ages, including fun missions for children, conferences, and guided tours. It also highlights the lake’s current challenges and encourages active engagement in its preservation.

The Christmas Circus at Plainpalais captivates Geneva families with a show that seamlessly integrates tradition and innovation. Founded in 1992 by the Van Gool family, this time-honored institution, passed down through generations, continues to deliver magical and unforgettable moments for audiences of all ages under its big top.
