An American in Paris

The musical “An American in Paris,” featuring music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin, makes its Swiss debut in Geneva. Directed by Wayne Marshall and staged by Christopher Wheeldon, the show unfolds the tale of three artists enamored with the same muse in post-war bohemian Paris. Following its phenomenal success on Broadway and in London, the talented cast performs accompanied by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, promising a spectacular end of year with dazzling choreography and a Broadway ambiance.

Gli Angeli Genève will perform Handel’s Messiah at Victoria Hall. This renowned oratorio, an annual December tradition for the ensemble, will be conducted by Stephan MacLeod and features soloists Jeanine De Bique, Alex Potter, and Samuel Boden. The 133rd edition of Geneva’s iconic satirical show, La Revue Genevoise 2025, takes place at the Casino-Théâtre before its renovation. Blending musical comedy, songs, dance, and sharp humor, the Revue playfully revisits local, national, and international news. It promises a festive and witty evening to enjoy with friends, family, or colleagues, celebrating laughter, wonder, and the end of an era at the theater.
