The 79th Concours de Genève kicks off with an exceptional concert at the Conservatory featuring the Novo Quartet, Tabea Zimmermann, and Thomas Hoppe. Established in 1939, the Geneva Competition is one of the most prestigious international music contests, dedicated to discovering and supporting young talent. This 79th edition highlights the viola and orchestral conducting, with semi-finals at the Franz Liszt Hall and a grand finale at Victoria Hall accompanied by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
