Yūgen Lab is a Geneva concept store specializing in Japanese craftsmanship, tableware and home accessories. The venue offers curated products made in Japan, vintage finds and artisanal goods, and presents occasional exhibitions and events. It acts as a cultural bridge, promoting Japanese aesthetics, traditional techniques and contemporary design to local audiences.
Yasuka Ishikawa, founder of Midnight Blossom, invites you to discover “Nos Kimonos” (Our Kimonos), an exhibition that presents the kimono in a new light: not as a static museum piece, but as a living garment worn in everyday life in Geneva.
Opening: Thursday, October 15 at 17:00, with a kitsuke (traditional Japanese dressing) demonstration at 18:30, and refreshments provided by small Geneva-based businesses dedicated to showcasing authentic Japan.
The exhibition is part of the “L’Automne de la culture japonaise 2026” program, supported by the Consulate of Japan in Geneva.
