Fabrice Melquiot’s monologue tells the story of Rose Amar, an ordinary yet exceptional woman standing beside her husband Paul, an obsessive sculptor who transforms shells and crustaceans into a colossal, saturated-colour work that borders on the sacred. Directed by Michel Lavoie and performed by Céline Cesa, the piece traces intimacy, devotion and the quiet presence of a woman who habitually hid behind her handbag while her husband spoke. The staging is intimate and tactile, blending poetic text with vivid visual imagination.

Performed by a deaf artist, this solo explores little-known connections between women and diverse tattoo cultures through a choreographic writing that rethinks sound and music. Tattooing becomes memory, mark and a bodily language, revealing stories previously unheard. The piece blends movement, visual composition and tactile registers to invite a different way of seeing and feeling, offering an intimate, embodied reflection on identity, memory and cultural traces.

Scène Active is a collective theatre creation led by a cohort of young participants who build a performance from the ground up. The ensemble conceives characters, writes the text, and shapes scenography, music, songs, visuals and choreography to express their visions, dreams and rebellions. Rooted in social participation and artistic mentorship, the project supports personal and professional development while privileging collaborative practice, risk-taking and honest, urgent storytelling.
