Located on the periphery of the Old Town, Taste Contemporary was founded in 2014 by Monique Deule. The gallery is dedicated to promoting both emerging and established artists who explore mediums such as clay, textiles, glass, and wood in pursuit of bold creative visions. With a focus on material-led artwork, Taste Contemporary curates regular exhibitions year-round.
In “Forms of the Never Was,” Matthew Harris and Patrick Loughran combine their distinct practices of textiles and ceramics to create innovative forms. Harris layers textile compositions through painted and stitched fabrics, while Loughran crafts contemporary ceramic shapes. Together, they explore form, movement, and abstraction, unfolding a surprising universe of new forms.
Vernissage Music and Drinks on Thursday 10 July, 18:00-21:00.
