Part of the Voix de Fête programme, this evening brings five distinct voices: Gildaa, a satirical songwriter straddling chanson and baile funk with bilingual, theatrical delivery; Malaka, a sister duo whose folk-soul harmonies favour pared-back instrumentation; Sam Mallais, a New Brunswick guitarist channeling analog-era psychedelic blues-rock (produced by Mike Trask); Soleil Launière, an Innu singer blending soul-roots with percussive performance alongside CHANCES and Simon Walls; and Noir & Gerber, a franglais soul-blues trio weaving intimate grooves and luminous covers.
Celebrating the songs and spirit of Michel Bühler, this concert gathers those who shared his journey in a choral tribute of around twenty pieces and an unpublished poem by Gilles Vigneault. Bühler’s poetic voice and humanist outlook permeate the evening, shaping moments of intimacy and communal catharsis. Joined by Pascal Rinaldi, whose acoustic pop delivers precise, evocative songwriting and tender love songs, the programme balances collective remembrance and solo artistry, unfolding in warm, resonant textures that linger.

Genevan-based Ooralise, Brussels’s Le Talu (with producer maïa blondeau), and Louv (with Geneva beatmaker Dyd) converge in a night of contemporary French-language rap. Ooralise pairs incisive lyrics and varied flows with an intimate resistance; Le Talu mixes digital rap, post‑trip‑hop and glitchy ASMR into raw, ritualistic performances; Louv blends classical textures, rap pulses and storytelling with feminist and queer urgency. Together they create a charged, sweaty atmosphere where vulnerability and defiance meet.
On a bill at the francophone spring festival Voix De Fête, SAN-NOM and Piotr offer intimate, lyric-driven rap rooted in storytelling and candid introspection. SAN-NOM pours lines like a diary—direct, tender, sometimes raw—blending chanson influences, acoustic guitar textures and quick shifts from laughter to melancholy. Piotr brings precise, searching writing and a measured musicality supported by Proxima aux Docks and the EjmaLive Foundation’s On Stage! program. Together they create a warm yet uneasy atmosphere where confession, generational memory and musical craft meet.
Humorous yet caustic, GiedRé offers a Maxi Best Of of sharp songs that turn pain into laughter; her stage persona plays with spotlight and irony, creating moments that sting as much as they amuse. Luca Léone blends song and theatre, continuing his album-spectacle explorations from Rose to Paradiso and Roma, where cinematic staging and autobiographical lyricism meet. Together they alternate between intimate confession and theatrical flourish, crafting an evening that balances wit, melancholy and striking visual gestures within a vividly staged musical landscape.
