Created by Collectif Humagine, La baleine 52 hertz examines autism and neurodivergent thought through intimate theatrical language. Written and performed by Valentina Luporini and Cédric Schaerer, the piece pairs Luporini’s dramaturgical voice with Schaerer’s multi-instrumental practice to shape its soundscape. The company, founded in 2023, draws artists from theatre, circus and music to explore compensation mechanisms, learning processes, emotional load and the distinct languages of autism, with a focused attention on feminine expressions often underdiagnosed.
