Delphica is an independent bookstore in Geneva specializing in literature, spiritualities and related subjects. Founded in 1979, it combines retail with a strong events program—author readings, book signings, workshops and a monthly reading club. The venue hosts exhibitions and community activities, serving as a local cultural hub for literary and spiritual dialogue.
Dóra Kiss and Sonia Zoran come together in a moderated conversation that traces memory, migration and the search for belonging through literature. Drawing on their novels En beaux caractères and La Fille de sel, the two authors reflect on immigration, cultural dislocation and the desire to reconnect with family roots. Their personal journeys — one returning to Hungary with her elderly father, the other travelling through Dalmatia after her father’s death — open a nuanced discussion on origins, traces and inner anchor points.
