Espace Nouveau Vallon is a municipal exhibition and reception venue managed by the Commune of Chêne-Bougeries. It hosts temporary art exhibitions and small community receptions linked to civil ceremonies, offering an intimate gallery environment for local artists and cultural projects. Its role is to support local cultural programming and community engagement.
An exhibition charting Chêne-Bougeries’s evolution from past to present, drawing on archival photographs, maps, and community memories. The display brings together historical documents, contemporary photography and mixed-media installations to explore urban development, landscape change and local identity. Through curated sequences and interpretive labels, the show considers how everyday life and collective memory shape place. The works use photography, archival material and site-responsive interventions to reveal layers of history embedded in the community.
