Lac Léman is a large glacial lake and natural landmark straddling Switzerland and France. It serves as a regional cultural and recreational hub, hosting boat services, waterfront promenades, beaches, and watersports. Surrounded by cities like Geneva and Lausanne, the lake frames vineyards, historic towns and major cultural events.
On the Water Geneva is a free electronic music gathering that transforms the lake into a shared musical space. DJs perform from a catamaran while everyone listens from boats, paddles or inflatable floats, creating an immersive sound and visual experience. The lineup features local and international melodic house and house artists, fostering a relaxed, collective atmosphere where neighbours and visitors connect through music and performance. The event welcomes all members of the community to join together on the water.
An immersive Sherlock investigation on the water, played from a stand-up paddle or canoe. Participants team up to meet characters, gather archival clues and piece together the mystery of the Sixth Wave. Interaction, sleight-of-mind puzzles and atmospheric storytelling turn the lake into a living crime scene. Requires basic paddling or shared equipment; suitable for teens and adults seeking an active, playful and investigative outdoor experience.
Culture, curated weekly.
