Galeries du Forum Meyrin are two municipal exhibition spaces within Forum Meyrin dedicated to contemporary visual arts. Managed by the City of Meyrin’s cultural service, they host rotating exhibitions, artist projects and educational activities. The galleries serve as a local platform for emerging and established artists, contributing to Meyrin’s cultural program and community engagement.
This exhibition brings together a selection of works by more than twenty artists from the Fonds cantonal d’art contemporain de Genève, with a focus on sculpture, including pieces that may never have been shown to the public. Curated alongside found objects by Varun Kumar, the display creates a quiet accumulation of dormant forms and unlikely encounters. It opens a meditation on the boundary between art and non-art, inviting visitors to read material presence, absence, and slumber as part of the same poetic field.
