Galerie ARTERESILIA is a community-oriented contemporary art gallery in Grand-Lancy that supports artistic creation and social reintegration. It presents temporary exhibitions across visual arts, photography and applied arts, offers exhibition space, logistical support and workshops, and prioritizes artists who have experienced personal or social hardship to foster resilience through art.
Claire Guanella presents a series of works titled Getting Robotic that anchors her practice in filiation and networks. Using a metaphor rich in polysemy, the works examine our real connections, sustaining living memory and an attentive regard for the always-terrestrial roots of technological transformation. The exhibition considers the interplay between inheritance, collective memory and invention, prompting reflection on how human ties and grounded origins shape our evolving relations with machines.
