Conducted by Roberto Sawicki, the Lancy‑Geneva Orchestra joins the Chorale du Châble under Eliane Gruaz with soloists Anna Orlik (violin) and Kamil Mukhametdinov (cello). The programme juxtaposes Smetana’s intimate ‘From My Life’ excerpts and the buoyant ‘Dance of the Comedians’ with Dvořák’s lyrical Romance and a playful cello Rondo. Choral settings by Michael Haydn, César Franck and Karl Jenkins sit alongside popular songs from Asia and Latin America, creating a vivid, celebratory soundworld rich in rhythmic vitality and nuanced lyricism.
