Situated within the International School of Geneva’s Grande Boissière campus in Chêne-Bougeries, the Centre des Arts, serves as a cultural hub offering a diverse range of events open to the general public. Its program encompasses stage productions, conferences, and exhibitions, providing a rich and varied cultural experience.
Artists from minority communities present works responding to war and reconciliation, exploring identity, territory, place and community. Through installations, photographic series and mixed-media pieces, the exhibition examines how cultural memory, displacement and local ties shape artistic strategies. The selection highlights the role of minority artists as human rights defenders, using visual language to question histories of conflict and modes of repair. Curatorial texts frame dialogues between personal narrative and collective memory.

Peter and the Wolf is presented in a chamber arrangement for wind quintet by J. Linckelmann, performed in a version by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. This musical tale combines vivid instrumental characterization with narrated storytelling: Marion Fontana leads the narration while Sarah Rumer (flute), Simon Sommerhalder (oboe), Benoît Willmann (clarinet), Luis Marquez Teruel (bassoon) and Clément Charpentier-Leroy (horn) bring Prokofiev’s motifs to life.
