CinéVersoix is an independent community cinema in Versoix presenting author, independent and arthouse films, often in original version with subtitles. Run by a volunteer team within the Ecole & Quartier association, it programs regular screenings, children’s sessions and special events, contributing to local cultural life since 1977.
François-Christian Marzal’s film follows Jean-Luc as he launches into a headlong performance of Don Quixote on the stage of La Comédie. Moving between theatre, memory, fiction and the echoes of Swiss cinema, it becomes a vertiginous meditation on representation itself. With references to Tanner, Goretta, Soutter and Godard, the film blends playfulness and reflection.
