Friday 22 May, 21:00

Yèfira draws from Greek repertoires at the crossroads of the Aegean and Black Sea, weaving Balkan and Anatolian traditions into intimate, poetic soundscapes. Vocalist Katerina Karagianni and percussionist Jérôme Salomon intertwine with Evangelos Sotiropoulos’s lyras and Frédéric Commenchal’s saz and oud, alternating festive Thracian rhythms that verge on trance and reflective Asia Minor melodies. The ensemble’s textures—rich contrasts of voice and strings—are framed through a co-production with Ateliers d’Ethnomusicologie, supported by the City of Geneva.

Saturday 23 May, 21:00

Founded in 2018 by Louis Schild, Le Recueil des Miracles unfolds as a communal music journey inspired by the tarantella. Vocalist Antoine Läng, violinist Clara Levy, flautist Anne Gillot, clarinetists Laurent Bruttin and others weave between festive Thracian rhythms and introspective Asia Minor melodies. Gaspar Pahud shapes the electronic soundscape while David Meier anchors the pulse on drums. The ensemble blurs boundaries between performers and listeners, creating echoing, embodied soundscapes that shift between trance-like release and reflective intimacy.

Friday 29 May, 21:00

Led by drummer-composer Lukas Briner, Hyla Crucifer sets narratives to music with a dark, playful and hypnotic sound. The quintet—Vera Baumann (vocals), Julia Rüffert (trombone), Cyrill Ferrari (guitar), Johanna Pärli (double bass) and Briner on drums—crafts a curious sonic palette and a distinctive rhythmic language that blurs genre lines. Sparse textures, propulsive grooves and timbral surprises create an intimate, immersive atmosphere, presenting material from their new EP on Austrian label Boomslang.

Saturday 30 May, 21:00

Violinist Dominique Pifarély and pianist François Couturier reunite in a delicate duo built around their album Préludes et Chansons. Nearly thirty years after Poros, the programme explores attentive musical dialogue, where improvisation, lyricism and silence create a porous exchange. The musicians listen and respond, honoring distinct paths while shaping a shared language. Sparse, luminous textures and sudden intensities evoke intimacy and longing, transporting listeners through moments of reflection and improvised discovery.
