ADEM – Ateliers d’ethnomusicologie is a Geneva association dedicated to world music and dance. The Maraîchers venue contains two dance halls, a music room and rehearsal spaces used for classes, workshops and community activities. ADEM organises concerts, festivals, educational programmes and supports intercultural exchange and migrant musicians.
Amanda Cepero leads this adult singing workshop, focusing on Cuban repertoire and collective vocal practice. She guides accessible vocal and movement exercises to build listening, presence and ensemble confidence.
The session explores traditional Cuban songs, rhythm and harmony through warm-ups, call-and-response and group interpretation. Participants learn melodies and phrasing while practicing stage presence, expression and collaborative arranging to deepen musical understanding and personal confidence.
