Featuring Pascal Michel, Dan Sloutskovski, Coralie Devars and Delphine Gosseries, this lunchtime concert presents the OCG Cello Quartet in a programme that moves from Romantic intimacy to contemporary pulse. The quartet traces lyrical lines from Brahms, Fauré and Schumann to Piazzolla’s bandoneón rhythms, alongside surprising arrangements of ABBA, Apocalyptica and film music. Warm, chamber textures and careful balance invite focused listening, offering restorative moments of resonance and cinematic sweep.

Concerts are staged regardless of weather, and the festival emphasizes artistic variety, lyrical expression and accessible programming that invites listeners of all ages into the world of classical music.

Carried by five performers, this circus piece transforms an ordinary waiting area into a cinematic stage where time subtly shifts. Acrobatics, juggling, tightwire and aerial apparatus interweave as bodies lift, fall and catch one another. With a blend of poetry, humour and tenderness, the company explores chance encounters and the small moments that reshape relationships. Created collectively with Maxime Wermelinger (trapeze), Matthias Bruchez (juggling), Ana Clara Hauri (aerial fabric), Europe Fayet (aerial hoop) and Ismaël Robert Flandin. Produced by Cirque à Brac.

La Bâtie Festival celebrates its 50th edition from 25 August to 13 September 2026! Over three weeks, theatre, dance, concerts, performances, circus and parties will take over venues across Geneva and the region. This anniversary edition also introduces Le Béaba, a new open-air hub at the Musée Ariana, bringing together free events, performances and concerts in a lively, convivial setting.

Festival de la Bâtie – La Demande d’asile

Directed and choreographed by Nicolas Barry, La Demande d’asile stages the brutality of the asylum procedure through the bodies and voices of two performers, Sophie Billon and Nangaline Gomis. Blending dance and theatre, the piece makes administrative violence tangible and centres the specific difficulties faced by LGBTQIA+ people when forced to narrate their histories and identities under interrogation. Sparse scenography and intense physicality probe memory, vulnerability and survival.

JOUBe (Romain Joubert) stages an electro, dance‑driven performance that converts his bicycle into a musical instrument. The live set blends field recordings gathered on the road, intimate testimonies and improvised electronic beats to build a roaming dancefloor experience. Minimalist textures, pulsing rhythms and playful sonic bricolage invite physical movement and collective listening, shifting between introspective passages and euphoric bursts. The project balances technological curiosity with human stories, creating a cinematic, mobile club atmosphere.
