The Wheel of Fortune

Two unexpected deities arrive by bicycle, guided by a capricious GPS, carrying a very serious object: the Wheel of Fortune. They need the audience—especially children—to spin the wheel and together invent a story about a child to whom nothing seems to go right. Misfortunes pile up, luck sticks to the sneakers and solutions must be imagined. A participatory musical tale where chance and imagination shape a different story each time.

In French. Kids ages 5 and up.

REQUIEM POUR DU POGNON is a musical comedy that unfolds as a blackly comic inheritance farce. After the death of wealthy entrepreneur Marcel, a large, fractious family gathers to read the will: a humiliated widow, a lovesick secretary, an avaricious mistress, a dull son, neurotic daughters and grasping cousins. Songs, ensemble numbers and moments of karaoke expose secrets, rivalries and petty betrayals, shifting between biting satire and tender absurdity while the stage pulses with chaotic, carnival-like energy.

Led by Thierry Courlet (voice, piano, compositions), Le Thierryble revisits 1960s–70s rock with French-language lyrics that blend bittersweet poetry and wry paranoia. Electric guitars give way to cello and delicate arrangements by Vartan Baonian, while Maëllie’s vocal textures and percussion colour the sound. Influences such as Pink Floyd, the Beatles and Genesis surface without pastiche, creating melancholic, cinematic moments. Presented within the Musique à Pont-Rouge programme in collaboration with FA-MI, the set feels intimate and reflective.

Directed by Oscar Gómez Mata and Bastien Semenzato, this staging brings together 16 young performers from La Manufacture’s promotion O to tackle Hamlet in its entirety. Combining tragic force with mordant, absurd humour, the piece explores how the past splashes into the present and how institutions unravel. Using the jeu bouffon — masks, exaggeration and the subversion of power — the ensemble shifts between farce, violent outbursts and intimate doubt as the prince teeters between thought and action.

Claudine (j’aime pas l’bonheur) is a re-creation by Marjolaine Minot that probes the ambivalence of happiness through intimate theatrical language. The piece blends restrained physicality and lyrical monologue to map memory, longing and domestic disquiet. Minimal scenic devices and attentive sound design carve spaces of emotion, while a small ensemble negotiates shifts between humour and melancholy. The production favours fragile gestures and precise rhythms to evoke an uneasy, poetic atmosphere.
