Skankin’ Society Sound System

Formed in 2002, Skankin’ Society is a pivotal Geneva collective and label that revives the golden age of Jamaican music. Their selections—roots reggae, rocksteady and gems from the 1960s and 70s—are curated with retro finesse and high-quality taste. Equipped with a vintage sound system, the crew (including Tim Gourdou-Labourdette, Camille Chappuis, Manohar Jonnalagedda, Simon Arbouille and Till Girardier) crafts a nocturnal journey through timeless Caribbean grooves and deep, sovereign vibrations.

Graines de Ciel – on the road is a poetic, theatrical-musical encounter conceived by Latifa Djerbi and produced by Compagnie Les Faiseurs de Rêves. REQUIEM POUR DU POGNON is a musical comedy that unfolds as a blackly comic inheritance farce. After the death of wealthy entrepreneur Marcel, a large, fractious family gathers to read the will: a humiliated widow, a lovesick secretary, an avaricious mistress, a dull son, neurotic daughters and grasping cousins. Songs, ensemble numbers and moments of karaoke expose secrets, rivalries and petty betrayals, shifting between biting satire and tender absurdity while the stage pulses with chaotic, carnival-like energy.
