Director Amy Berg (Oscar-nominated) assembles archival footage, vocal recordings and intimate testimony to trace the brief, luminous career of Jeff Buckley. The documentary revisits the singer’s singular voice and daring musicality, mapping his rise around the acclaimed album Grace and the mystery of his early death at thirty. Through close textures, lyrical editing and restrained interviews, the film inhabits memory and absence, exploring devotion, loss and the fragile alchemy between talent and myth.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with Thierry Sartoretti, cultural journalist at RTS.
