Enfantillages et bizarreries : vertige d’une collection

Booking Required

An intimate assemblage presents a constellation of small objects—toys, trinkets, charms, perfume bottles, stamps, pencils and marbles—where everyday artifacts hover between plaything and artwork.
Featuring objects by Sol LeWitt, Yoko Ono, Jenny Holzer and Takako Saito, the exhibition traces a collector’s obsessive impulses and imaginative logic.
Through found objects and miniature compositions, it explores childhood as refuge, the thaumaturgic charge of objects, and how desire and loss shape the poetic economy of collecting.

Furious Thinking presents works by Bachelor students from HEAD Genève’s Chroma option, examining the origins of their emerging artistic practice. Blurred memories, endless archives, accumulated collections and the ceaseless image feed converge in a room-like installation of personal effects: mutant PEZ, bigfoot slippers, jewellery, dice, cakes, a bed and stacked plastic chairs, alongside politics, family, distant mountain chants and a few monsters. The exhibition functions as exercise, rehearsal and edition, probing how images wound, soothe and shape authorship beyond the canvas.

Opening : Friday, April 17, 18:00 – 21:00.
Closing : Friday, May 8, 16:00 – 18:00 pm, including a listening session with Henry Rausch. In French

“Métamorphose.” The exhibition aims to bring together artists and artworks inspired by the theme of spring in all its forms and interpretations. Each artistic contribution brings a distinct voice to this shared reflection on transformation and renewal.

16 March – 17 October

Dany Gignoux (photographer) and poet Georges Haldas present a compelling dialogue between documentary photography and lyrical prose. The exhibition brings together photographs and written fragments that register everyday life in Geneva’s cafés, combining on-the-spot reportage with memory-infused “prose inspirée.” Through intimate black-and-white images and spare, evocative texts the works transfigure mundane scenes into poetic testimony, revealing social undercurrents and human tenderness. Archival materials frame this historic encounter between two generations of cultural chroniclers.

12 March – 20 June

May 1972 is an exhibition dedicated to Salvatore Emblema (Naples, 1929–2006), bringing together works produced between the late 1960s and the early 1980s. Across paintings, sculptures and installations, Emblema refines a conceptual language that interrogates materiality, form and temporality. The presentation highlights his experimental use of found materials, assemblage and reductive gestures, situating these works within postwar Italian avant‑garde practices and the artist’s evolving exploration of spatial and epistemic limits.

17 April – 30 May

This exhibition presents portraits and personal testimonies of about twenty Swiss centenarians alongside results from the SWISS100 interdisciplinary research project. Photographs, audio testimonies, archival documents and data visualisations dialogue to reveal everyday realities of longevity. The display combines portraiture and research to challenge clichés, exploring memory, loss, care and social infrastructures that shape life after a hundred. Visitors encounter intimate narratives framed by scientific analysis and visual storytelling.

Opening: Thursday 16 April, 18:30 – 20:30

16 April – 16 May

Thénie Khatchatourian presents a body of works on paper that probes memory through constructed, symbolic figures. Using earthy pigments and delicate draftsmanship, her compositions combine bodies, geometric elements and vessel-like shapes that suggest both human presence and architectural form. Rather than literal narratives, forms repeat, transform and assemble to evoke continuity and transmission. Rooted in her Armenian cultural heritage, the work draws on ornaments, profiles and ritual motifs to connect past and present through a concentrated visual language.
