The program moves seamlessly from La lugubre Gondola and Consolation to Bloch’s In the Night and Poems of the Sea, unfolding as a single breath with nuanced touch and dynamic contrasts. Petrossian’s Cyclades pieces close the program with luminous, island-inspired echoes, emphasizing intimate atmosphere and contemplative sonorities.

Led by Geneva-based musician YaĂ«l Miller, Rhizomes is an ensemble that weaves contemporary folk, world music and poetic song into a porous musical fabric. With voices and synths (YaĂ«l Miller, Donia Berriri), bass (Thomas d’Arbigny de Chalus), electric guitar (Thomas Caillou) and drums/effects (Roland Merlinc), the group blends intimate electronics and earthy rhythms to probe themes of internal exile, belonging, memory, transformation and resilience. Performances favour delicate textures and sudden surges, creating a warm, immersive atmosphere that invites attentive listening.

Performed and choreographed by Eugénie Rebetez, COMEBACK is a solo exploration of artistic, female and maternal identity. On stage she shifts through extravagant costumes and a blend of choreography, song and gesture, crafting scenic images that are both poetic and comic. The work moves between introspection and humour, intertwining contemporary dance and stand-up rhythms to question the artist’s status. Co-produced by Tanzhaus Zürich, Casino Théâtre de Rolle, Théâtre Boulimie and LE POCHE, it offers an intimate, unsettling and hilarious journey.
