Led by Geneva-based musician Yaël Miller, Rhizomes is an ensemble that weaves contemporary folk, world music and poetic song into a porous musical fabric. With voices and synths (Yaël Miller, Donia Berriri), bass (Thomas d’Arbigny de Chalus), electric guitar (Thomas Caillou) and drums/effects (Roland Merlinc), the group blends intimate electronics and earthy rhythms to probe themes of internal exile, belonging, memory, transformation and resilience.
