Alborosie, the Sicilian-born artist who has made Kingston his creative home, leads Shengen Clan in a generation-spanning reggae show. As singer, songwriter and producer, he blends roots, dub and dancehall with deep reverence, supported by a tight band whose warm bass and echoing studio effects recall classic Jamaican sound. Lighting and sound sculpt an intimate, immersive space where soulful vocals, call-and-response grooves and meditative dub passages invite communal release and reflective calm.

The program features Mendelssohn’s “Hebrides” Overture, Frank Martin’s “Concerto for Violin and Orchestra,” and Beethoven’s iconic “Symphony No. 5.” This evening offers a captivating journey through pieces that evoke nature, enchantment, and dramatic power, with a total duration of about 1 hour and 40 minutes, including an intermission.

The Jazz Night Latina offers an evening featuring a concert by percussionist Edwin Sanz and his musicians, followed by a jam session open to all musicians. Bring your instruments and join this celebration of Latin jazz.

11 – 22 February

Choreographer Ugo Dehaes replaces his human troupe with extravagant robot-dancers endowed with an artificial intelligence that invents their own choreography. Intimate and unsettling, the performance invites the audience to sit around a table as the mechanised performers execute an uncanny, rhythmic ballet. Marie Peeters’ dramaturgy frames questions about labour, profit and the place of culture, while Wannes Deneer’s scenography and musical composition shape a tactile, immersive atmosphere. The piece blends humour, critique and physical precision.

10 – 22 February

In early January 2022, two construction vehicles belonging to a Swiss multinational were set on fire at a gravel pit in the Geneva countryside. Over a year later, a young man — referred to as Jérémy — was arrested and suspected of involvement in the arson. Held in pre-trial detention, he was released after more than three months, following strong public support and mobilization.

Directed by Joël Maillard and adapted from Nina Yargekov’s novel, Double nationalité is a choral theatrical investigation into identity and its contradictions. Four actresses — Cécile Goussard, Mélina Martin, Alicia Packer and Marie Ripoll — embody a single heroine and the chorus of her inner thoughts, navigating bilingual disorientation, memory and fantasy. Mélissa Rouvinet’s scenography, Antoine Françoise’s music and Édouard Hügli’s lighting create a dreamlike, often sharp atmosphere. Production by Cie SNAUT; costumes by Coralie Chauvin and sound by Cédric Simon.
