Kamel Raiah, an Algerian singer who performs in the Kabyle language, will take the stage at the Alhambra in a concert organized by Tiwiza Léman. He is renowned for his vibrant voice and his deep connection to Amazigh traditions, which he enriches with modern sounds. Notable among his works is “Lechiakh,” an album that pays tribute to the masters of Kabyle music.
For its first Christmas programme, Les Ondes invites audiences on a musical journey through the rich British tradition of Christmas Carols with Peace on Earth, at St Pierre Cathedral in Geneva. Blending a cappella works with organ-accompanied pieces performed by Margot Boitard, under the direction of Léonie Cachelin, the programme spans centuries of sacred and popular heritage and features the luminous Peace on Earth by American composer Amy Beach, whose message remains profoundly relevant.
