Join the final Late Night event at the Grand Théâtre for a one-of-a-kind experience featuring a punk concert, oyster dances, and a kinky queer performance. The evening unfolds in two segments: the first features the Geneva Viennese Ball from early evening to late night, while the second part kicks off with a DJ set at Bar Bleu. This bold and festive night marks the season’s opening, bids farewell to winter, and welcomes the summer.

22 & 23 November

GARDEROBES, Geneva’s key event on sustainable fashion, offers a weekend dedicated to ethical practices and creativity. The program includes stands with committed designers, workshops, a sewing repair café, an ethical fashion show, a clothing swap, and an eco-market. Visitors can also attend a conference on sustainable fashion, discover an exhibition on the art of the kimono, explore initiatives raising awareness about fast fashion, and view a school art competition around the theme of the kimono.

Saturday 22 November, 19:00

The Viennese Ball of Geneva will take place at the Grand Théâtre, celebrating the 200th anniversary of Johann Strauss II. This event, true to Viennese tradition, will feature an evening of dance, ballet, opera, and orchestral music in a festive atmosphere. The Debutantes will perform the opening dance, followed by choreography from the Europaballett Sankt Pölten and vocal performances by Nadia Krasteva and Virginia Sirolli. At midnight, the Viennese quadrille will invite all guests to join in on the dance floor. The Blue Bar will create a cozy heuriger atmosphere, offering Viennese specialties. Attire is formal, requiring evening gowns and tuxedos. Reservations can be made at balviennois.ch and the event is organized by the Association “Friends of Viennese Ball Music.”
