CABINET architectural firm presents their winning design for the “Umwelt” project, selected through Geneva’s competition for the expansion and restoration of the Museum of Art and History. Founded in 2019 by Fanny Noël and Diogo Lopes, CABINET proposes an innovative approach where the museum emerges from existing structures, revealing latent potential while creating new relationships with the environment that transcend traditional building boundaries.
This inaugural conference launches the new Master of Advanced Studies in Cultural Heritage: Museum and Built Environment program, a collaboration between four Romandy universities that bridges museology with built heritage conservation, evolving from a formation that began in 1996.
