Contre-Jour

Under the glow of a streetlamp, two students await an interview with Grisélidis Réal, set as part of their final studies. In a Beckett-inspired setting, they encounter sex workers, challenging their preconceptions. The play “Contre-jour” delves into the validity of discourses between theory and lived experience, commitment, and expression. Created by Mathi and Margot Le Coultre, this debut from Cie « La Poudre à lever » delves into the topic of prostitution, drawing inspiration from Grisélidis Réal.
