The Philippe Saire Company presents “Bachibouzouk!”, a poetic show that combines dance and theater. Inspired by Captain Haddock’s famous exclamation, this production features a boy who wakes up in the middle of the night to encounter a strange creature made of tarps. These tarps come to life, weaving a dreamlike and enchanting universe. A captivating performance that makes contemporary dance accessible and engaging for young audiences.

The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.
Drift into a musical tale drawn from Rémi sans famille, told while the harp weaves soft melodies. Listen to plucked strings, follow the narrator’s voice, and imagine characters coming to life. The performance invites children to take part, choose some musical pieces, and learn how the harp makes sound. With clear storytelling and gentle music, kids discover rhythm, timbre, and the magic of a live harp.

Imagine walking from the exhibition into a workshop where you dream up how to become famous and see your name on a street plaque. Children sketch bright ideas, cut colorful collage pieces, and stick them onto a cardboard plaque. They paint letters, add textures, and play with shapes and sounds as they personalise their mini street sign. The result is a small ‘success panel’ to hang on a wall and a lively collage celebrating their future fame.

Alain Frey leads this workshop exploring sound design and attentive listening, guiding participants through a composed sound narrative assembled from many recordings.
Participants will use close listening and imagination to navigate the layered audio piece and develop personal interpretations. The session examines how field recordings and sound design create narrative meaning, and addresses techniques for focusing perception effectively away from everyday stimuli.

Two performers play a mischievous game between bodies and shadows. Shadows break free from their models, change shape, defy physics, and perform surprising tricks. Bodies become shadows and shadows take form; performers appear and vanish. With three white sheets, a few objects and flashlight melodies, children are invited into a whimsical world of light, movement and music where imagination takes flight.

Listen to stories about shimmering scales, curious fins and the soft gurgle of water while you learn about their bodies, diets and roles in the lake’s food web. Touch charts, ask questions and share observations in a friendly space that opens curiosity and new discoveries about freshwater life.
