Ablaye Cissoko, master of the kora and Senegalese griot, teams up with accordionist Cyrille Brotto for a delicate musical dialogue between West Africa and Europe. Together, they create a poetic and sensitive work, highlighted by their deep connection and their new album Djiyo. DJ Ras Mali continues the journey with a vibrant set of African music, adding energy and rhythm to the evening.
The Solistes de Beyrouth, a renowned vocal ensemble from Lebanon, will perform a gala concert at Geneva’s Victoria Hall to support Caritas Lebanon. Led by Fernando Afara, with mezzo-soprano Carine Séchaye and organist Yves Lafargue, the program will feature works by Poulenc, Bizet, Mascagni, Verdi, as well as Lebanese music.
