Sagesses et Sottises de Nassr Eddin Hodja brings together Lorianne Cherpillod, Miguel Fernandez-V, Tara Macris, and Sophie Tirabosco to narrate the tale of this 13th-century wise fool. Spanning from Persia to Algeria, Nassr Eddin is a character admired for embodying both innocence and wisdom through a series of short stories that range from philosophical musings to humorous anecdotes. The narrative delves into his life, his adventures with his trusty donkey, encounters with figures of authority, and his debates with the divine, all enriched by music and songs from the lands of figs and dates.

Agapé Festival – Golden Mass

Cappella Pratensis, an ensemble founded in 1987, specializes in the polyphony of the 15th and 16th centuries, focusing on the music of Josquin Desprez. By recreating the musical conditions of the Renaissance, the singers gather around a large lectern, using facsimiles of original sources. Their performances highlight Gregorian chant as the foundation of polyphony, emphasizing a flexible melody, the modal system, and the influence of language. The concert will be preceded by a discussion with Peter de Laurentis.

Agapé Festival – Ensemble Correspondances

Under the direction of Sébastien Daucé, the ensemble Correspondances pays tribute to Notre Dame de Paris with works by Campra, Veillot, Lalouette, Cosset, and Robert. Specializing in 17th-century French music, the ensemble combines historical accuracy with contemporary emotion. Their work involves the revival of previously unheard compositions and grand reconstructions, such as the Coronation of Louis XIV. Since its founding in 2009, Correspondances has become a key reference point, performing both in France and internationally, and is in residence at the Théâtre de Caen.

OSR Solidarity Concert

The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande will host a concert dedicated to Mozart at the Museum, promoting a charitable cause.
