In its sixth edition, the event offers a diverse and rich lineup that includes recent releases, major hits, and classic films. Experience the captivating dialogues between contemporary and classic works, taking you on an emotional and timeless journey through cinema’s art.
To celebrate Boris Charmatz’s return to La Bâtie, the Festival and Cinema Bio present screenings of two dance films by the choreographer: “Les Disparates” and “Danse gâchée dans l’herbe.” Following the screenings, there will be a discussion with Boris Charmatz and Anne Davier, followed by a brunch, providing a unique opportunity to explore or revisit his work and its evolution.

The auditorium hosts “cine-relax” screenings, open to everyone. You can catch the documentary “Ladysmith Black Mambazo – The Sound of Africa”. The film chronicles the story of Joseph Shabalala and his a cappella group, a significant force against apartheid in South Africa. PLAZA ON TOUR sets up at Pavillon Sicli, offering films that encourage a collective rethinking of architecture. Following Art Genève, the Plaza’s mobile cinema showcases films on architecture that challenge the myth of the solitary architect, emphasizing collaboration and shared knowledge instead. The initiative, developed by BUREAU, draws inspiration from the industrial buildings of Marc J. Saugey in America.
The Shameless is a powerful film that explores caste, gender, and queer resistance through the story of two women on the margins of Indian society. Set against a backdrop of oppression and forbidden love, the film raises urgent questions about identity, freedom, and justice. A panel discussion with scholars and activists will follow the screening.
