A special screening of the film “Four Rivers Six Ranges” will take place with director Shenpenn Khymsar and co-producer Dorjee Wangdi Dewatshang in attendance. This event is organized in partnership with the Swiss-Tibetan Friendship Society. The historical film narrates the Tibetan armed resistance against the Chinese army and the 1959 escape of the 14th Dalai Lama, highlighting the bravery of the secret organization Chushi Gangdruk.

The Spring Program of the University of Geneva’s Film Club, titled “Visions of the Future,” is dedicated to science fiction films. The featured works emphasize space, silence, and infinity, encouraging viewers to embark on a profound meditation and a journey beyond reality. Weekly screenings are held at Les Cinémas du Grütli, with a special screening at Uni Mail as part of the Carac Festival.
Un paese di resistenza is a documentary by Shu Aiello and Catherine Catella that tells the story of Riace, a village in southern Italy revitalized through the welcoming of migrants under the leadership of Mayor Domenico Lucano. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Charles Heller on migration policies and the Riace model of integration. This event is presented in collaboration with Coordination Asile.ge.

FILMARcito Itinerante offers a tour of short film screenings for children across various communes in Geneva. Running from January to June, this program takes young audiences on a journey through the music, history, nature, and dreams of the Latin American continent, promoting cultural diversity awareness and respect for ecosystems. Some sessions feature a musical activity between films.

The film explores the profound and timeless aspects of his teachings, focusing on the transformation of individual consciousness to reach the sacred dimension of life.
The artist duo Invernomuto premieres their film “Pasanaku” at the Museum of Art and History in Geneva, in collaboration with the Bolivia-9 association. This film, a blend of fiction and documentary, highlights the voices of the Bolivian community in Switzerland, intertwining stories, traditional dances, and music. It delves into themes of memory, identity, and cultural transmission, featuring a soundtrack partially composed by Elysia Crampton Chuquimia. Admission is free, with a discussion with the artists following the screening.
