Special Screening/ Première: Fanon, by Jean-Claude Barny

Join us for a special screening and discussion featuring the premiere of a biopic on Franz Fanon, an iconic thinker in anti-colonial discourse. The film highlights his time in Algeria from 1953 to 1956, a crucial period in which he formulated his ideas on colonial violence. The event kicks off with an introduction by members of the Outrage and Afro-Swiss collectives, and is followed by a conversation with Kanyana Mutombo, the director of UPAF and general secretary of CRAN. This event is organized in collaboration with UPAF, CETIM, the Outrage Collective, and the Afro-Swiss Collective.
