Rare manuscripts and objects trace the captivating journey of a libertine in Calvin’s city.

16 October – 21 December

The Musée de Carouge showcases the city’s century-long relationship with cinema, highlighting iconic locations, pioneering figures like Alice Guy, local film productions, and the enduring Cinéma Bio, offering a vivid look at how Carouge has shaped and been shaped by the seventh art.

The exhibition is complemented by a diverse program of screenings, concerts, and workshops, allowing visitors to experience iconic films, explore Alice Guy’s world through music, and experiment with early animation techniques for a fully immersive journey into Carouge’s cinematic history and practice.

16 October 2025 – 30 August 2026

The MAH showcases Tonutopie, an innovative installation by German artist Hans-Walter Müller, a trailblazer in inflatable structures. This large, transparent, and habitable sphere, nestled within Vincent Lamouroux’s La Passerelle, offers a unique sensory experience. It delves into the contrasts between the fluidity of inflatable structures and the rigidity of traditional architecture, providing visitors with a fresh perspective on space.

For the 10th session in the 10th year of the “Rendez-vous d’artistes” project, artists Serval and Kalonji will host a hands-on workshop in collaboration with Caran d’Ache. Over two hours, they will share their artistic techniques with participants.

20 November – 19 December

Maya Rochat presents a new immersive installation as part of her “Poetry of the Earth” series, taking visitors into a sensory and visual universe through a projection system and sound composition. The artist creates a dialogue between photos and videos of natural elements like water, light, and wind, interwoven with abstract paintings. The exhibition also features an opening event and workshops for children.
