Label Genève: Collective Exhibition of Craftsmen

Artisans from the Label Genève association present a group exhibition of urban works that bridges contemporary creation, craftsmanship, and technological innovation. The show brings together individual and collective pieces—furniture, objects and site-responsive interventions—that combine traditional techniques, material research and digital processes. Grounded in New Bauhaus principles of sustainability, circularity and interdisciplinarity, the works reveal demanding creative approaches, highlighting artisanal labour, experimental materials and dialogues between handmaking and technological evolution.

Nouvelles d’Anticythère

Ready to dive into the dark depths off the island of Antikythera to discover an ancient shipwreck? The exhibition Nouvelles d’Anticythère presents the research carried out between 2021 and 2025 by the Classical Archaeology Unit of the University of Geneva, in collaboration with the Greek Ministry of Culture. It examines the famous shipwreck discovered in 1900 — a major merchant vessel that sank in the 1st century BCE — and invites visitors to discover the site and understand why it remains a key subject for archaeological research across the Mediterranean.

Exhibition of a collection – Plan-les-Ouates Art Fund

An exhibition presents around sixty works from the Plan-les-Ouates Art Fund, featuring paintings, sculptures, works on paper and installations. Artists such as Ruth Baettig, Carine Bovey, Sarah Carp, Georges Dessouslavy and Maya Rochat explore repetition, materiality and form through varied techniques: collage, printmaking, ceramics, video and mixed media. The selection stages dialogues between generational perspectives and examines how multiples, process and everyday objects shape contemporary artistic practice.

Groove’N’Move Festival: Morpho — Photographic Portraits

Morpho is the first photographic exhibition by Lamine Jammeh (Lemz.O) that honors dancers who assert their identities beyond appearance. Through staged portraits and a sensitive visual language, Jammeh explores themes of identity, embodiment and performative selfhood. The series celebrates diversity, courage and the expressive power of movement, presenting intimate, high-contrast images that foreground presence and gesture. Scenography by Lola Delbec and portraits include Sofiane Chalal, Missy NRC, Samantha Panda Laley, Maela Bouguila and Nicolas Meyapan.

FIFDH: Oya – Clima Yaakaar

Senegalese artists Mao Sidibé and Def Mama Def, together with dancers from École des Sables, present Oya – Clima Yaakaar, a collective project responding to the climate crisis. The work merges music, contemporary African dance and photography to foreground the health impacts of environmental change on vulnerable communities. Photographer Sylvain Cherkaoui contributes a visual layer that links performance with lived experience and humanitarian realities. The project evokes resilience and calls attention to collective hope and urgent care.

Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri: Master of the Western Desert

This exhibition pays tribute to Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, a seminal figure of Australian Aboriginal art and a pioneer of the Western Desert painting movement. Drawing on Dreaming stories and the ancestral landscapes of his Anmatyerre heritage, Possum translated traditional sand and body painting motifs into monumental canvases that intertwine myth, geography and memory. His richly patterned, large-scale works balance Indigenous cosmology with a striking sense of modern abstraction, affirming his lasting influence on global contemporary art.

ARMATURA — Konstantina Krikzoni

L'Appartement

London-based artist Konstantina Krikzoni presents a body of paintings born from an intense solitary studio practice. Her work blurs painting and sculpture: textured, tactile canvases where brushwork and sculptural modelling interweave. Silent yet confrontational female figures occupy compositions in grey and yellow, evoking funerary motifs and the logic of memory and grief. ARMATURA functions as metaphor and method — an internal armature of endurance that shapes emotion into form through material exploration and sustained process.
