The Village of Cultures at ADEM returns for its fourth edition, offering a series of workshops in world music, singing, and dance. Join an Amapiano dance workshop for adults and children aged 8 and up, set amidst the Afrosonica-Soundscapes exhibition. Led by Loubna, a dancer with a passion for Afro-urban styles, you’ll be introduced to this South African dance that blends deep house, jazz, and traditional rhythms. Dive into a free and nuanced exploration of movement. Reservations are required, and suitable attire is advised.

23 April – 16 July

Join an evening drawing class at the museum led by artist Leyla Goormaghtigh. Explore the galleries and rediscover the permanent collections while benefiting from her guidance and exercises. This activity is open to adults and teens.

A Journey Through Our Herbarium and Garden: Immerse yourself in the biodiversity of rare vegetables at a garden developed in partnership with the ProSpeciaRara Foundation. Delve into the wild ancestors preserved in the herbarium and learn about the plant parts we consume. This unique experience uncovers the secrets of plant evolution and selection, allowing you to savor these botanical wonders.

The Veto (2025) is a documentary examining the historical use and current challenges of the UN Security Council’s veto power. The screening is followed by a panel discussion featuring experts and diplomats, moderated by Corinne Momal-Vanian, Executive Director of the Kofi Annan Foundation.

In July, the vibrant spirit of the Río de la Plata takes over the courtyard’s arcades with tango evenings. The program includes a guided tour, an introduction to tango, and a concert-milonga.
