For his first solo exhibition in Geneva, Gregor Hildebrandt transforms Galerie Mezzanin into a poetic space of memory and transformation. Using materials such as magnetic tape, vinyl records, and audio cassettes, he reinterprets the physical traces of the analog world, turning familiar forms into sculptural and pictorial works. His installations evoke themes of transfer, nostalgia, and the fragility of memory, reminding us that remembrance once had a tangible medium. Balancing irony and reverence, Hildebrandt questions the role of the artist in an age dominated by digital reproduction, suggesting that art now resides not in direct representation of reality, but in the layered density of collective memory and desire.

Théâtre du Forum Meyrin

Adrien Mondot and Claire Bardainne present an interactive exhibition that blends visual and performing arts, placing the body at the heart of image-making. Combining handcrafted objects with digital devices, the duo uses augmented reality and holography to propose a form of digital animism: apparently motionless stones and objects reveal hidden life through poetic scenarios. The series ‘Le Silence des pierres’ pays homage to the agency and intimacy of life lodged in inert matter.

Projects by five finalists from HEAD–Genève are presented alongside the work of Mohamad Khamis in an exhibition of installations that probe sharing and engagement. The pieces employ spatial and conceptual strategies to explore collective practices, interpersonal exchange and forms of commitment. The show foregrounds emerging artistic voices, using installation as a platform for material inquiry and civic reflection, and invites careful attention to the ways artworks stage social relations and ethical questions.

Matthias Lecoq investigates the contemporary city as a milieu of existence, probing how urban forms shape subjectivity and appearance. The exhibition centers on abstract paintings that translate urban forces—density, thresholds, fields, circulations, exhaustion and momentum—while photographs anchor the work in everyday situations. Diagrams, cosmologies and textual fragments act as thinking-tools rather than explanations. Through a study of grammars, rhythms and tensions, Lecoq’s practice reveals the conditions that make collective and individual emergence possible within urban life.

Marie Ducaté presents Simultanés, an installation that transposes the spirit and traces of her studio into a theatre of objects. Combining ceramics, tracing paper, watercolor, textile and glass, the work sits at the intersection of pop culture and art history. The installation foregrounds a chromatic range from vivid colour to transparency and investigates the sensuality of materials, inviting close attention to texture, surface and the intimate relationships between form and materiality. Valse Velue brings together Jessy Razafimandimby and Cathy Josefowitz in a cross-generational dialogue that juxtaposes performative practice with a body of studio-based works. The presentation combines live and time-based actions with constructed objects and window-front pieces by Tito Honegger and Nicolas Ponce. Through movement, improvisation and attentive materiality, the exhibition interrogates presence, memory and the afterlives of artistic gestures. Curatorial framing highlights exchange, contingency and how ephemeral performances resonate alongside durable artifacts.
