The FILMAR festival presents two screenings of Chris Gude’s Morichales at Cinémas du Grütli, in collaboration with Agenda 21 – Climate Week. This 83-minute documentary follows the journey of gold miners in Venezuelan Guyana, from the Moriche palm trees to the banks of the Orinoco River. Through a blend of reflections, illustrations, and photochemical paintings, the film delves into gold mining and humanity’s connection to nature. Each screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the director.
